We're painting the outline of the inner panel deep purple to convey depth

Time to paint!

We left some of the old paint on the door to help with the rustic look; now we're putting a nice light yellow

Step 2

A small vacuum is helpful for removing chipping paint. We used the vacuum to get the excess chips after sanding the door.
